1. Nature of the service
El mejor DOC is an informational directory. We do not provide medical services, schedule appointments on behalf of doctors, or mediate the clinical relationship between patient and professional. All communication, care and clinical responsibility lies with the contacted doctor.
2. Directory information
Profile information comes from public sources and from the doctors themselves. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep it updated, we do not guarantee accuracy. Report errors to citas@elmejordoc.com.
3. Profile claims
Any doctor can claim their profile by verifying their identity with a selfie holding their ID. The process is manual and may take 1–2 business days. We reserve the right to approve or reject claims at our discretion when verification is inconclusive.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false information, third-party photos without authorization, or offensive content.
- Do not use the directory for unauthorized commercial purposes (mass scraping, data resale).
- Patients must use the directory information solely to contact the doctor of their choice.
5. VIP plan
Doctors may subscribe to a VIP plan that includes priority placement, services section and testimonials. Specific terms, pricing and cancellation are detailed at signup.
6. Limitation of liability
El mejor DOC is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, cost or outcome of medical services rendered by listed professionals. Any dispute between patient and doctor is resolved directly between them.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version with its date. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of changes.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Colombian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Medellín (Antioquia, Colombia).
